Rare photos July 7, 2016 edition

This photograph is one of the RAREST in the world of Elvis with Vernon and Gladys. This photograph is the ENTIRE picture as opposed the the "cropped version" that has been shown elsewhere.

Rare, and actual, copy of the Memphis Newspaper article about (sadly) the death of Elvis' beloved mother Gladys on August 14, 1958.

Rare candid photograph of Elvis with Gladys and Vernon in the backyard of their home on Audubon Drive in Memphis. A few weeks later Elvis would make the decision, which Gladys supported as the neighbors kept complaining about fans coming there 24/7, to look for another home eventually finding a place far OUTSIDE of the city and it was built, and named, ... Graceland.

Graceland was originally built in 1939 and named after the owner's daughter, Grace Toof Moore. Grace was a musician as well, and would often use the music room at Graceland to practice.
